Frequently Asked Questions
What are Botox and facial fillers, and how do they differ?
Botox is a prescription treatment that temporarily relaxes specific facial muscles to reduce the appearance of dynamic wrinkles, such as frown lines and crow’s feet. Facial fillers restore lost volume, enhance facial contours, and smooth deeper lines by adding fullness to targeted areas like the cheeks, lips, and around the mouth.
How long do Botox and facial filler results last?
Botox results typically last 3–4 months, while most facial fillers last 6–18 months, depending on the type of filler used, the treatment area, and individual factors such as metabolism.
Are Botox and facial fillers safe?
When administered by a qualified and experienced medical professional, Botox and facial fillers are generally considered safe. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site is common and usually resolves within a few days. A consultation is important to determine whether the treatment is appropriate for your needs and medical history.
